Our History

Tiny Towers School started in August 2003 as a Summer School Program. This was to help parents who didn’t have much to do with the children during the summer break and also help them acquire certain basic skills through play. In September that same year we started with the After School Club. Again, this was to help working parents who could not leave work to pick and drop off children at home during working hours. Children were picked from various schools, fed lunch, assisted with their homework’s and creative activities like painting, cooking, tae-kwondo etc. We started with a staff of 4 people. Due to pressure from our parents we decided on regularising into a school. We had just one classroom so hurriedly we built two extra classrooms and employed two more people.

In September 2004 the school took off with 7 children. By the end of the academic year we had 20 children. Our first few years was very tough because being a new school we had to convince parents on why they had to enroll their wards in the school. By dint of our hard work and the quality of service we provided there were good recommendations our numbers went up to 45 pupils. There was the need to expand and so we built two extra classrooms. Then came the demand by nursing mothers on a good place to take their babies after the end of their maternity leave. An additional class was built as a creche.

At tiny towers we use both the Traditional and Montessori teaching. We can now boast of 6 classrooms,14Staff Members(6 teachers,2 Assistant Teachers,1 Cleaner,1 Driver,1 Security and 3 non teaching staff members),4 toilets and a well-equipped office.
